The annual ‘Columbus College Christmas Fair’ took place this year on Friday 14th December in the spacious surroundings of the Atrium on the new College Campus site. Students from both FE and Key Stage 4 set up a selection of stalls selling handmade crafts such as snow globes, calendars, wreaths and salt dough decorations.

Students had worked together in their tutor groups for many weeks prior to the event creating crafts for the ‘Columbus goes carolling’ theme. Christmas songs and carols inspired different stalls such as ‘I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas’ where a Tombola of entirely white items could be won or ‘Away in a Manger’ where animal tree decorations were made from salt dough and painted by students. The fair was a huge success with lots of money raised by our very enterprising students! Thank you to all parents and carers who visited and supported the fair.
