Columbus School are the very proud winners of a Daisy Primary Library Award, for demonstration of excellent library practice and promotion of a life-long love of reading. Ambassadors from Key Stage 1 and 2 attended the award ceremony at Anglia Ruskin University where Columbus were short-listed from 60 schools! Florence, Alfie, James and Daniel were very proud to receive the certificate on behalf of the school from the Dean of Anglia Ruskin University, as well as thoroughly enjoying meeting the award winning children’s author Kes Gray who famously wrote the entertaining  ‘Eat Your Peas’. The ambassadors were a credit to the school and brilliantly represented the Columbus values of the importance of reading. Well done to all at Columbus!
