Key Stage Two have been getting in the Christmas spirit, both at school and out in the community. Pupils have helped to decorate the school by putting up Christmas trees, making paper chains and creating hand made Christmas crackers. Out on community visits, we have visited a garden centre, to look at some of the seasonal plants, visited a grotto and look at the beautiful decorations. We have also had our annual Christmas visit to St. Mary’s in Broomfield, where Reverend Tibbott and Curate Anne welcomed the children and shared the story of Christmas with them.

Alongside all of this the children have, of course, been working very hard on rehearsals for their performance of Peace Child. With genuine African costumes, handmade shields, and Djembe drums from Essex Music Services, the children have been so excited about their African themed show. The children have shown such amazing progress over the past few weeks with their routines, songs and signs. We hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did!
