Remembrance Day at Columbus

The pupils on School Campus shared some special times together for Remembrance Day. At 11o’clock a two minute silence was held for staff and pupils to think about our soldiers and remember those who have kept our country safe. A commemorative whole school assembly was also shared where pupils thought further about the meaning behind Remembrance Day; a school Cenotaph was created with poppy contributions made in class. It was wonderful to see our pupils coming together as a whole school so sensitively and maturely to acknowledge some very special people.
